Hi, we have a requirement in our project for a DatePicker widget to be given a start date. Our ui has two DatePickers, one is the departure date and the other is the return date - when the calendar icon on the return date widget is clicked it should popup a calendar showing the month containing the departure date.

For example, in the attached screenshot we require the months shown in the Return date calendar to be November and December as the Depart date is the first of November.

I'm sure there's a simple solution to this problem but I can't work out what it is Blush

Our DatePicker code is as follows:

{@aria:DatePicker {
label : properties.getProperty("orion.availability.search.depart"),
labelPos : "top",
mandatory : true,
calendarShowShortcuts : false,
calendarNumberOfUnits : 2,
calendarShowWeekNumbers : false,
calendarFirstDayOfWeek : 1,
width : 120,
margins : "1 0 1 10",
tabIndex : 0,
autoselect : true,
bind : {
value : {
to : "departureDate",
inside : data.searchFields
}
}
} /}

{@aria:DatePicker {
label : properties.getProperty("orion.availability.search.return"),
labelPos : "top",
calendarShowShortcuts : false,
calendarNumberOfUnits : 2,
calendarShowWeekNumbers : false,
calendarFirstDayOfWeek : 1,
width : 120,
margins : "1 0 1 10",
tabIndex : 0,
autoselect : true,
bind : {
value : {
to : "returnDate",
inside : data.searchFields
}
}
} /}

Thanks

Hey Graeme,

at first sight I'd say that what you're trying to do requires a custom template for the datepicker. You should check out this post on at.com: http://ariatemplates.com/blog/2012/10/cr...er-widget/

If this is not enough, contact the guys in support directly, the forum has pretty much been deserted for a while... Biggrin
